Keep up to date with important membership information. Here we provide you with an update on the hospitals that have been added to our network, explain how you can receive your annual tax statement electronically, and give you the details of our latest rate review.
Receive Your Tax Statement Electronically
It's nearly time to receive your annual tax statement. You can do so in one of two ways. The easiest and most convenient (not to mention environmentally friendly) way is to receive it electronically via email.
To do so, simply visit www.mbf.com.au and login to myMBF. Once there, you can access self service where you will need to update your contact details. Within the contact preference section there is a sub section relating to tax mailing. You need to register by 31 May if you wish to receive your statement electronically. If this doesn't suit you, your annual tax statement will be sent out to you in the mail.
Update: MBF Network Hospitals
The hospitals in our network allow customers to receive benefits for in-patient hospital treatment. The intention is to reduce or, in some cases, eliminate for customers out-of-pocket expenses relating to their hospital treatment. Benefits apply in accordance with your level of care. The hospitals below have been added to MBF Network Hospitals.

Ring us first before you go to hospital
If you are planning hospital treatment or are being formally admitted to hospital, ring us first on 131 137. Benefits for treatment at hospitals in the MBF network are payable subject to the usual conditions of MBF hospital cover. Please note that in-patient hospital treatment charges are separate from doctors' charges.
